Dr. Dmitry Shestakovsky

At Omega Physical Therapy in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Dmitry Shestakovsky is an expert physical therapist who serves patients from in and around the Brooklyn, New York area. At Omega Physical Therapy, patients receive individualized care from Dr. Shestakovsky. He specializes in ankle and foot injuries, neck pain, physical therapy and post-surgery rehabilitation programs, sciatica and lower back pain treatment, knee pain treatment, and sports injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Shestakovsky attended the Physical Therapy program at the Downstate University, where he graduated in 1999. In 2007, he graduated from the University of St. Augustine’s with honors and obtained his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Dr.Shestakovsky has been trained by the leading experts in manual medicine in treating patients using the latest, most innovative techniques in osteopathic manipulation in addition to spinal manipulation. The practice’s mission is to encourage natural healing via manual medicine and education, with the objective of restoring and advancing the patient to his or her optimal ability level and health.

At Omega Physical Therapy, Dr. Shestakovsky focuses on manual medicine, continuing education, osteopathic medicine, and the high velocity/low amplitude (HVLA) technique. He is devoted to providing his patients with individualized care and using initiative methods on every type of patient. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Shestakovskyenjoys spending time with his wife and child. He also loves basketball and reading.
