Dyker Heights runs between 7th and 14th Avenues, from 65th Street down to the Belt Parkway, which puts it west of the office along the same street grid. 83rd Street runs through both — the numbered streets carry straight across, so the address is easy to find even if you have never been to this end of them.

Directions & Transit
Getting here from Dyker Heights
Dyker Heights has no subway station inside it, which is the thing that makes the trip different from the other neighborhoods we serve. The nearest lines sit on its edges: the R runs along Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge to the west, and the D on the West End Line runs along New Utrecht Avenue to the east, at 79th, 71st and 62nd Streets. Neither is a one-seat ride here.
The bus usually is. The B1 runs the length of 86th Street and passes within three blocks of the office, so from anywhere along the southern half of Dyker Heights it is a single ride east. The B64 covers Bay Ridge Avenue and Bath Avenue, and the B8 and B16 run through the neighborhood as well. Driving, 86th Street and Bath Avenue are the through routes east; the office is on a residential block with the usual posted alternate-side rules.
One local note about December
Dyker Heights fills up in December. The Christmas light displays are concentrated between 83rd and 86th Streets and 11th and 13th Avenues — the same 83rd Street the office is on, about a dozen avenue blocks west — and the crowds are heaviest on weekend evenings in mid-December. If you have a late-afternoon or evening appointment in that stretch, 86th Street is the sensible way east rather than the residential streets through the display, or give yourself extra time.
The rest of the year, 13th Avenue between 86th Street and Bay Ridge Avenue is the neighborhood’s commercial spine, and Dyker Beach Park and Golf Course sit at its southern end. The office is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with every appointment one-on-one with Dr. Dmitry Shestakovsky, DPT.
