Serving Gravesend
Physical Therapy for Gravesend, Brooklyn
Close enough that the boundary is genuinely debatable — and the D station nearest the office is on the Gravesend side of it.
Where we are, relative to Gravesend
Omega Physical Therapy has one office, at 2327 83rd Street, Suite C, Brooklyn, NY 11214, and we see patients from Gravesend there.
Where Bensonhurst ends and Gravesend begins depends on which map you are reading. Some draw the line at Bay Parkway, others at Stillwell Avenue further east. The practice sits in the 11214 ZIP code and describes itself as being in Bensonhurst — but it is close enough to the boundary that mapping services routinely file the block under Gravesend. The practical version: if you live in Gravesend, this is closer than the distance on a map suggests.

Directions & Transit
Getting here from Gravesend
Gravesend has more subway options than anywhere else we serve — the N and W on the Sea Beach Line at Kings Highway, Avenue U and 86th Street; the D on the West End Line at 25th Avenue and Bay 50th Street; and the F on the Culver Line at Kings Highway, Avenue U and Avenue X. The one that matters here is the D at 25th Avenue: it is about a third of a mile from the office, and it is a Gravesend station, so for a good part of the neighborhood this is a local trip on a line you already use.
The B1 runs west along 86th Street from the Ocean Parkway end of Gravesend and stops within three blocks of the office. The B82 and B82 SBS cover Kings Highway, and the B6 comes down Bay Parkway. Driving, 86th Street and Bay Parkway are the two direct routes, and the Belt Parkway runs along the neighborhood’s southern edge if you are coming from the shore side.
What treatment looks like here
Every appointment is one-on-one with Dr. Dmitry Shestakovsky, DPT, who evaluates you himself and builds an individual plan rather than working from a standard protocol. The practice’s stated approach is to treat the cause of the problem rather than the symptoms, which is why the first visit is spent on assessment.
The office is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Call (718) 996-9929 with any question about your insurance before your first visit — coverage varies by plan, and the office will talk it through with you.
